The percussion was pretty good, but this was overall pretty much poorly mixed. Alot of frequencies crash and alot of the synths are way to loud like the one at 1:40.
It's also way too random for my liking at some points, At other points though I really digged it.

3 stars.

FortressLord responds:

Yeah, this was a weird one. BUT I've been full-time practising, so the randomness won't be a problem now I've self taught some music theory.
Thanks for your time.

Dammit =_= another outstanding piece. Now I gotta take this into consideration for my top 3 of the AIM as well :/.
One of the best 8-bit tracks I've ever heard. Loved the melody and percussion :D.
The slide notes made my day and the bit guitar is awesome.
An absolutely outstanding piece and fits the art really well :D.

Instant 5 and favourite.

8-bitheroes responds:

Thank you for the feedback! i'm really glad you enjoyed it. :)

Holy "##%%&&%/. Most awesome piece ever. Gotta restrain from using caps, cuz WOW this is awesome :D. Was sure I already got my 3 favourites, but now I guess I gotta take this into consideration as well. I remember hearing your songs under the NGADM, but this is definetly the best piece I've heard by you and one of the best tracks I've heard on the site :D.

Instant five and favourite :D.

johnfn responds:

Hey thanks dude! I'm glad you like it so much :-)

Pretty boring piece. Felt like I just heard the same loq quality instruments play the same melody over and over again :/. It has a good concept with some interesting ideas in it, but as it is now it really isn't good. You should work a bit on song structure and switch out the instruments.

The same thing...

The main goal is make something minimal and experiemental(seems like it don't have worked at all, meh). However, I'm improving my skills so, my next song will sounds better(I hope so, lmao).

Thx4daReview.

Sounds awesome :D, Was really fun to listen too and I never got tired of it :).
Wish that the lead had one more powerful layer, but other than that I loved it :D.
Loved the synths you used :D. I oved the part at 1:04

A really great atmospheric/ dancey piece :D.
4.5 stars and favourite.

Spadezer responds:

This makes me happy to see that someone really enjoyed this. You might enjoy my second AIM submission a lot more though. ;)

-Spadezer-

The intro was amazing :D.
When the guitar comes in though I feel like the track dropped in quality. The guitar sounded really low quallity really low quality. Lowed the drop though. Really like this kind of melodic dubstep :). Wish you had varied this a bit more though. The clap sample you used also sounded bad. They sound like the basic Fl studio claps which I honestly have learned to hate from the bottom of my heart :3.

Anyways I loved this track except from the clap and guitar. I liked the way you used the guitar. just didn't like the sound of it.

4 stars.

aCreator responds:

I made a huge mistake with the guitar that's right... The problem was that I recorded with the microphone input of my computer. Was really a stupid idea... Now I bought an interface and I can clearly hear the difference! Huge difference...

And that's a reason I really like Newgrounds. The people here know their stuff and help each other. That's really great :)
(And I'm sorry to disappoint you but I use Logic Pro, not FL Studio. But that doesn't change the fact that my clap sounds like crap)
Thank you for the nice review!

Nice :D. Sounds like a true classical piano composistion one of the true masters would make :D.
It's amazing that you managed to perform this live in one take :o.
This piece reflects the artwork really well :D

A nother true masterpiece :D. Had a fitting length to it as well :).
5 stars.

MetroPiano responds:

Thanks for the review!

Beautiful :o. A real masterpiece :D.
Sounds really professional.

Lol I have a serious problem now Xd. Got like 15 tracks that are my favourites in this contest XD. Will be near to impossible to only choose 3 of them :(.

Anyways, a true masterpiece. Felt like it could have been a tad bit longer though. Kinda stopped at the buildup.
Thus, 4.5 stars :).

Emid responds:

I specially stopped it as I wanted to maintain the integrity of the innocence in the art. It was to show that innocence stays innocent even after winning the battle with darkness. She (the girl in the picture) goes back to the swing like nothing happened. It was her innocence.
Many thanks for the comment. Really glad that you enjoyed.

Dammit steam. Awesomeness has it's limits you know XD. This fits the artwork perfectly and is probably my favourite song in this contest.
Haven't listened to a song by you since the Lost one's weeping collab you did with dj-jo (Which happens to be one of my 3 favourite songs on the site). Ended up only following him, but now I see that you definetly are worth following as well :D.

Great piece. Instant 5. Again. Probably amaong my favourites in this competition :D.

steampianist responds:

thank you im very flattered

A beautiful piano piece :D. This piece packs alot of emotion I can really feel the picture from it :D.
Sound like something one of the great composers of the old days like Mozart would make.
Didn't expect to find such a masterpiece in the A.I.M :D.
Having a really hard time findig faults in such a beautiful composistion :D.
