New Projects

Yo guyz! It's been a while since I did a proper update on what I'm up to these days, so I figured I'd do one right now. It's a pretty good timing actually, as there have been some quite interesting things happening lately.

First of all, some of  you might have noticed my little animation/music video/creepypasta thing I uploaded recently. If the "Part 1 of 4" didn't make it obvious enough, it's part of a greater series, or rather I should say a greater world. I wanted to do something for both Newgrounds and Youtube, and this series is the result of that. I'm really happy for all the positive feedback I've gotten :). I'll add a little teaser for the next part below.

100 Subs on Youtube

Speaking of Youtube, I recently hit 100 subscribers on there, which is pretty mind-blowing for me. I've found it extremely enjoyable this last year to just make stupid songs about things I like, and I would never thought that people would actually want to come back and see more of it. Though I still plan on making "proper" music as well, it's always nice to have a place where you can just kick back and not worry about all the technical nitty gritty stuff.

My Future Plans

I have more motivation to actually make stuff, and I've finally realized that the reason why I haven't been satisfied with my music these past years, is that I never intended for it to stop at music. My original reason for making music was because to use it as a part of something greater. I've never wanted to be an artist or just a music producer, but rather I've always wanted to create my own world through visual and auditory input. Thus most of music I produce in the future will probably be part of bigger projects, which again means that I'll probably upload even less music in the coming year than I've done this year. Hopefully that's understandable, and if you've enjoyed my music these past years, I really appreciate all the support, and I hope you'll enjoy the stuff I make.

This ended up sounding like some kind of retirement speech, but I'm just getting started :D.

Sorry to hear that tumblr is such a major fuck up, but you're more than welcome here! Now we just need Soundcloud to fuck up as well and we're back in buisness!

Yo!

Lately I've been expanding my horizons a bit and trying a couple new things on youtbe and Soundcloud. As I've said before, I have no intention of leaving Newgrounds, but I think it's about time I try to find where I want to go with my content online. And thus I've decided to go back to my early early roots and the first content I actually uploaded online: Video Games.  The reason why I completely stopped making video games some years ago was because I stopped finding programming enjoyable. After all these years however, I feel actually motivated to work through the tedious tasks to actually make a finished product. Also I've actually had Programming in school for the last three years, so I feel a bit more prepared now than I was before.

I'm still looking for a fitting game engine. I've used both Gamemaker, Construct 2, Unity and Unreal, but I've noticed that there's a couple of new engines like Godot and MonoGame that are getting good reviews, so I gotta have a look around. For the time being I'll be using GameMaker to get back into the groove again. I've been working on a small and short platformer (I'll drop a video down below) for the "My First Game Jam"  Jam over on itch.io. I'm on the lookout for play-testers with controllers as I have a couple of things that need testing, so please reach out if you wanna help a brother out ;).

So basically I just wanted to give a quick little update to bring you up to speed what I've been doing lately. In hindsight it was probably a terrible idea to participate in a game jam, A.i.M and NGADM at the same time, but I'm having fun with all of it so oh well.

Hi guyz!

So I've been wanting to make tutorial-esque videos on youtube for a while now, but because I'm too self conscious about my pronounciation and knowledge, I've been putting it off for a long time. I finally decided to get around to making something.

I've seen a lot of new, up and coming musicians fall flat here on Newgrounds, and it has always bothered me why some people seem to easily get stuck at certain level and never really improve from there. In this 5 part mini series I talk about different reasons as to why this might happen and how to fix it. The videos are all fairly short, so if you are a musician just starting out or if you've been making music for a while, but feel like you've hit a roadblock, consider checking these videos out. I'm no professional myself, and I have a lot of things to learn, but I believe I can spare you a lot of the headaches I had to go through in my first couple of years.

I really hope this is helpful to someone, and if you got any further questions or something you wanna add on, I would love to hear it, and hopefully my accent isn't too thick for you XD.

Yo!

Been a while since I've done one of these update posts, and considering that a lot of stuff has happend lately I felt like it would be a good time :).

First of all I want to refer you guyz to @RealFaction 's latest newspost. Some of you might have checked out the new album by The Underground Collective, but in case you haven't I advise all of you to go read the newspost and if possible donate to the gofund. It's at time s like this we need to stand together as a community..

A.I.M

Some of you may have seen it already, but my track "Lonely hermit" Won this years Art Inspired Music Contest :D. AIM has always been a very special contest for me as it was during first contest in 2014 that I got my first real breakthrough with "Cosmic Stream of Life". I've always looked up to artists like Johnfn and Skyewint who have won the NGADM and the A.I.M in the past, and it's absoulutely unbelieveable for me that I actually was able to win a contest as well :) Lonely Hermit was my first attempt at making orchestral music , but it certainly won't be my last :D.

Youtube & Soundcloud

So as some of you probably noticed I haven't been uploading as much as I normally do year. I'm constantly producing music, but I think I've been getting a lot more selective about the tracks that I upload, thus I usually just upload the tracks that I'm satisfied with. In addition to this I've been working on remixes this year that I can't really upload to Newgrounds. On that note I've decided to broaden my perspective a bit, and I've finally decided to use Youtube and Soundcloud in addition to Newgrounds to get my music out there. I'm planning on mainly using Soundcloud and Youtube to upload remixes while I'll keep my original work on here while ocassionally uploading some of them to Soundcloud. The FLP's for all the remixes will be available under the youtube video (after it gets 20 likess

So basically if you're interested in my music at all it would great if you could follow me on Youtube and Soundcloud as well ;). Recently uploaded a remix of "beautiful Mess" by Kristian Kostov.

Review Request Club

As you all have noticed, the Review Request Club has been rather inactive lately. This year has been filled with exams and personal matters, so I haven't had as much time to be active on NG and thus I haven't been able to organize the club. The good news i that I'm completely done with my exams in less than a months time, and then the RRC will be in full swing again :). In the meantime, feel free to conitnue posting your tracks in the thread. Though I'm not able to review all of them, I still get notifications from the thread, and I do check the tracks out and leave reviews occasionally. I'm sure other members are doing the same thing :)

So as some of you might, remember I used to do a lot of audio collabs in my earlier days. Since then I've started a couple, but never gotten to completing any. Well, now finally after all this time I've completed a DnB collab with Ggaero. Had a lot of fun working on it, so hope you guyz enjoy it as well. And give @ggaero sum luv. Deserves more than the 7 fans he currently has :). Not often I use my frontpage post privelligies to promote my music, but I think it's worth it to promote an underrated artist :).

Holy molly, I'm only one awy from those golden three digits!!

I haven't really decided what I actually want to do to celebrate. I'll probably make a special track to all of you awesome people, but I want to do something more in addition. Thinking of a steam giveaway just for the heck of it, but I'll see if I can't think of a good idea :D.
